An art educator with 10 years experience in public and private settings, I am also a busy mother who appreciates the value of reliable, enriching child care. I currently live and work in Natick and I remain an active member of the local art community. I have taught art to all ages: grade school children, middle and high school children, and retirees. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and a Masters Degree in Art Education. I hold a Mass Teaching License for Pre-K-12 and am currently employed as a Visual Arts Instructor at Needham High School
The goal of Artsy Fartsy art lessons is to introduce and provide your child with the tools to discover the wonderful world of ART. Artsy Fartsy Art lessons are also perfect for date night, last minute plans, running errands, or just some extra "me" time. Children can choose which material they would like to work with and which project they would like to work on. Lessons are available in: Watercolor, Sculpture, Drawing Media, Still-Life Painting and Drawing, Non-Western Art, Art Journaling, Scrap Booking, and Pottery. Hours of lessons are: 3-5pm Monday - Thursday. Friday & Saturday 3-8 pm. The rate is $18 per hour, 2 hour minimum.. materials are included. Private lessons in your home are also available, for individuals or groups of up to four. The rate for private lessons is: $25 per hour. Private birthday parties are available, for groups of around 10 children. There is a flat rate of $250 for two hours. We will provide art instruction, art projects, and art materials (Food/Cake/Decorations not provided). Hours for Birthday parties are after regular CRCH business hours (early evenings/evenings).
